Information about the capabilities and features of the LSM 800 with AiryScan+FAST from Zeiss
Publications that have arisen from data collected using the microscope
NEW USERS: To be trained as an independent user of the LSM 880 please contact Mr. Kennedy Nguyen, [email protected].  To receive authorization for independent use:
1) Undergo training
2) Provide information on the status of the student (graduate, postdoc, undergraduate), their year and major, the name of their advisor.
3) Submit a short paragraph describing the research being conducted with the LSM880.

In June, the PI team will contact all users to obtain a list of exemplary images, data and/or publications that have arisen from use of the LSM880. Priority for scheduling time may be subject to demonstration of research outcomes.
Publications, posters, and presentations that arise from data collected on the LSM 880 should acknowledge support from NSF using the following text:

The data in this work was collected, in part, with a confocal microscope acquired through the National Science Foundation MRI Award Number DMR-1625733.

Please also send a copy of the final published version of the paper to [email protected] for NSF reporting purposes.

Objectives on the LSM 880

1. Objective Fluar 2.5x/0.12 M27
2.
Objective Plan-Apochromat 10x/0.45 M27
3. Objective W Plan-Apochromat 20x/1.0 DIC M27 75mm
4. Objective LD LCI Plan-Apochromat 40x/1.2 Imm Corr DIC M27
5 .Objective Plan-Apochromat 63x/1.4 Oil DIC M27

These objectives are dedicated objectives on the LSM 880. They should not be removed from the LSM 880 room. If missing please contact a member of staff immediately.

Other Objectives Available from the Subramaniam Lab

1. Objective "Plan-Neofluar" 10x/0.30 Pol
2. Objective Plan-Apochromat 20x/0.8 M27

These objectives belong to the Subramaniam Lab's LSM 700. While available for loan to trained users of the LSM 880, priority use of these objectives is for Subramaniam lab members and collaborators. The availability for use on the LSM 880 is not guaranteed without prior arrangement. Non-lab members should plan accordingly.
